İpekyol in Turkey: Sizes, Stores, Delivery and Returns

İpekyol is a Turkish women’s fashion brand, founded in 1986, with its first shop on Rumeli Caddesi in İstanbul in 1989. Its online shop prices in Turkish lira (TL) and its size chart gives bust, waist and hips in centimetres.

Who İpekyol is: a brand, a group and its labels

İpekyol is the name of a brand and of the group that owns it. The name is two Turkish words: ipek (silk) and yol (road). Yalçın Ayaydın, chairman of the board, founded it in 1986; the head office is in Şişli, a district of İstanbul. The online shop’s footer reads «© 2026 İpekyol A.Ş.»: A.Ş. (anonim şirket) means joint-stock company.

Sizes: how the chart reads

İpekyol numbers its clothes 34 to 44 and also gives them as letters, XS to XXL. The size chart (beden kılavuzu, updated 01.11.2023, checked 25.10.2026) lists three body measures for each size, all in centimetres (cm).

A measure between two rows

The rows step by 4 cm. A bust of 88 cm lies 2 cm from row 36 (bust 86) and 2 cm from row 38 (bust 90), so it touches both rows. Bust 86, waist 70 and hips 102 touch rows 36, 38 and 40: the three measures sit on three different rows.

What the model numbers are

Every product page prints Manken Ölçüleri (model measures): the size worn, the height and three numbers. On the 20 dresses of the dresses page, the model wears 36 / S and is 176 to 180 cm tall, and the three numbers run from 76 to 84, 58 to 62 and 87 to 93. Checked 25.10.2026

The shelves: what İpekyol sells and what it costs

The online menu groups the range into clothing, outerwear, shoes, bags, accessories and beachwear, with an Outlet section (an outlet sells reduced items, here past collections). Each Turkish menu word is glossed below, checked 25.10.2026.

A product page

It lists a product code, the country of manufacture and a care instruction. Example: dress code IW6260002223074. Checked 25.10.2026

Denim

İpekyol sells jeans (jean pantolon). Turkish jean makers and brands are in Turkish jeans manufacturers.

Where to buy: shops, outlets and the online store

The İpekyol Group says it has more than 300 shops in Türkiye and abroad. The shop finder is the Mağazalar (shops) page of ipekyol.com.tr: ipekyol.com.tr/magazalarimiz.

Payment

is by debit or credit card, with instalments depending on bank campaigns.

Delivery and paying: costs, times and the ID number

The fees are in Turkish lira (TL), checked 25.10.2026. Kargo is the Turkish word for parcel post and the carriers that run it.

Standard delivery

99.90 TL. Orders of 3,500 TL and over are delivered free.

Next-day delivery

129.90 TL. An order placed by 17:30 on a weekday is handed to the carrier by 18:00 on the first business day; on Saturdays the cut-off is 12:00.

Where next-day applies

Ankara, Bolu, Düzce, Edirne, İstanbul, İzmir, Kırklareli, Kocaeli, Sakarya and Tekirdağ. It applies to items sent from the online warehouse (Online Depo). Elsewhere only standard delivery is offered.

One order, two parcels

An order with items from the online warehouse and items from a shop’s stock (Mağaza Stoklu) is sent in at least two parcels.

Time to hand over

Orders are prepared and handed to the carrier within 1 to 3 business days, and this takes longer in sale periods.

By e-mail and by the tracking link under Siparişlerim (My orders) on the site.

Address

It cannot be changed once the order is confirmed: cancel the order and place it again. An order not yet processed can be cancelled from the account page.

1. Order and payPay by debit or credit card. Instalments (taksit, paying in monthly parts) depend on bank campaigns, and the payment page shows the options for each card. How instalments work in general is in Credit cards in Turkey.
2. The ID numberThe order asks for a T.C. kimlik numarası (the Turkish Republic ID number). İpekyol says it must be on the invoice: the company works with the E-Arşiv (electronic archive) invoice system, and communiqué no. 433 of the Tax Procedure Law requires the number there.
3. Discounts and pointsDiscounts set up for your account come off the total at the payment step. You can add a promotion code there or pay with active Club points.
4. Gift cardsGift cards bought in İpekyol shops cannot be used on ipekyol.com.tr.

Exchanges and returns

Two layers apply. The first is İpekyol’s own policy. The second is the law for distance sales: an order placed online or by phone, without meeting the seller face to face.

İpekyol’s policy

• 30 days with the invoice. Free exchange or return within 30 days, with the invoice, by post or at any İpekyol shop.
• Unused and unaltered. An exchange needs the item unused and unaltered (kullanılmamış ve tadilat yapılmamış), with the invoice, at any İpekyol shop.
• Miss İpekyol. Items labelled Miss İpekyol exchange only at Outlet shops.
• Gifts. A gift exchange needs the Gift Exchange Card (Hediye Değişim Kartı).
• Earrings and similar personal items are not taken back or exchanged, for hygiene.
• Products in protective packaging cannot be returned once the cellophane or the protective band is opened or damaged.
• Beachwear: all tags and the protective band undamaged, no stain or damage, all accessories and the protective bag included, and bikinis, which are sold as sets, returned complete. A deformed item goes to inspection, and İpekyol informs you of its decision.
• Evening dresses (abiye). At a shop, staff check the item and complete the return at once when there is no damage; by post, the warehouse check takes longer.

Returning by post

1. Choose the itemUnder Sipariş İade (order return) in your account, pick the item and the reason, then press Devam (continue).
2. Take the codesThe screen shows the brand code “198583 IPEKYOL” and your own return code.
3. Hand it inGive the parcel to a branch of Yurtiçi Kargo, the Turkish parcel carrier İpekyol has a contract with, within 5 business days, as the returns page says. Return post is free only through that carrier.
4. The refundİpekyol checks the items when they reach its warehouse and e-mails you when the return is accepted. The bank sets when the refund shows. An instalment purchase is refunded in instalments, in the instalment amounts.

The law

• 14 days. For a distance sale the buyer may withdraw within 14 days, without giving a reason. The 14 days start when the goods are delivered, and the notice goes to the seller in writing. Ministry of Trade guide, page of 17.08.2026
• The refund. The seller returns all payments, delivery costs included, within 14 days, in one payment to the card used, even when the purchase was paid in instalments. On a withdrawal, İpekyol pays the return shipping.
• Exceptions. The Ministry lists hygiene items such as earrings whose protective packaging has been opened.
• A shop purchase is not a distance sale: the definition rests on buyer and seller not meeting face to face.

30 days and 14 days

İpekyol’s delivery-and-returns page and its FAQ give 30 days with the invoice. One line in the returns conditions gives 14 days from delivery, at any İpekyol shop, for a faulty item or a size that does not fit. İpekyol’s support line is 0850 399 47 35.

İpekyol Club: points, tiers and the gift card

İpekyol Club is the brand’s loyalty programme: members earn points on purchases. Under the terms of 13.05.2026 it is free and applies to İpekyol, Twist and Machka. Only individuals over 18 can join; it is not a programme for companies.

When points work

Points earned can be used from the next day. They stay usable until the last day of the year after the one they were earned in, and expired points are reset every New Year.

Returns

When a purchase is returned, the extra rights it gave the membership are taken back.

Cash

Points and extra rights cannot be turned into cash or used instead of cash.

Not a card

İpekyol Club is not a credit card, and a payment cannot be made with it.

Where it applies

In the shops İpekyol names, and campaigns can differ between shops and the site.

Gift card

The menu has a Gift Card (Hediye Kartı) entry. Gift cards bought in shops cannot be used on ipekyol.com.tr. Checked 25.10.2026

The Edirne plant: an award-winning production site

The group’s production plant stands in Edirne, in western Türkiye near the Greek and Bulgarian borders. The plant opened in 2006 and covers 17,000 m², by the group’s figures. It won the Aga Khan Award for Architecture in the 2008–2010 cycle.

Most of the group’s staff are women, by its own account. It provides scholarships in cooperation with the TEV (Türk Eğitim Vakfı, the Turkish Education Foundation) and runs workshops at a vocational high school in Bursa.
