Naming the Yunus Emre Institute

The institute is named after the famous Turkish poet Yunus Emre, who was a Sufi from Anatolia and lived in the 13th and 14th centuries.

The Turkish Summer School program is implemented with the participation of visiting students who are learning the Turkish language in Yunus Emre centers around the world and in archeology departments in many countries of the world.

The Turkish language is only used as a language of communication during the summer school, where students get the opportunity to learn the Turkish language in addition to the region’s culture by visiting distinguished historical and tourist sites in Turkish cities and states.
