Buying a graphics card in Turkey comes down to three checks: the shop’s price in lira, the importer’s warranty and the paperwork. This guide shows what GeForce RTX 50 cards cost at three Turkish shops on 19 October 2026, what the law says about the warranty and the certificate, and what the Ministry of Trade says about bringing a card in yourself.

Buying a card in Turkey

Check the price, the certificate and the serial number.

  • Price: on 19.10.2026 an RTX 5070 in stock cost 61,098 to 74,999 TL at the three shops, about €1,100 to €1,350 at the TCMB rate. Pick your own card in the tool below.
  • Warranty: the importer or the maker issues the warranty certificate, and the seller hands it over complete. An invoice does not replace it.
  • In your luggage: the Ministry of Trade keeps one page for passengers and another for post and courier. Their lines are quoted in the chapter on bringing a card in yourself.

Check a price before you pay

Pick a card, then TL, euro or dollar. The tool shows the memory and the power NVIDIA lists for that chip, and the price range at each shop for cards in stock. Type the price you were quoted to see where it sits among the listings.

All listings, with the shops’ own pages

Prices change within days, and a shop can sell out of the card you want, so the price you pay is the one on the shop’s own page. The listings come from the product pages of Gaming.Gen.TR, İtopya and Vatan Bilgisayar, each in stock at the time of checking. Euro and dollar figures are the lira price at the TCMB forex selling rate of 19.10.2026.

Where a Turkish price comes from

Under the Price Tag Regulation, a seller that offers goods to consumers states the price in Turkish lira with all taxes included. Four rules help when you compare.

On the label

What a price tag shows

A label or price list must show where the goods were made, what sets them apart, the sale price with all taxes included and the date the price began to apply. It must be written in Turkish.

Price Tag Regulation, art. 5, para. 2

Currency

Lira on the label

The sale price on a label or list is written as “Türk Lirası”, “TL” or with the lira symbol. The regulation lists exceptions for services performed abroad, such as package tours.

Price Tag Regulation, art. 9, para. 4

Shelf or till

If the two prices differ

When the price on the shelf and the price at the till differ, the price that favours the consumer applies.

Price Tag Regulation, art. 10, para. 1

Discount

The price before the sale

A discounted price must be shown beside the price before the discount. For goods, the price before the discount is the lowest price applied in the ten days before the discount began, and the seller must prove it.

Price Tag Regulation, art. 11(1), amended 11 October 2025, and art. 11(2)

Who answers if the card fails

A new card sold in Turkey has two kinds of cover: the rights Law 6502 gives every buyer, and the warranty certificate that the importer or the maker issues. If a card is defective, you can withdraw from the sale, keep the card and ask for a price cut in proportion to the defect, ask for a free repair, or ask for a replacement. The seller must carry out the choice you make (Law 6502, art. 11, para. 1). If a repair or a replacement would be disproportionately hard for the seller, you can withdraw or ask for a price cut instead (para. 3).

You can claim a free repair or a replacement from the importer or the maker as well, and the seller, the importer and the maker are jointly responsible (art. 11, para. 2). If the importer stops trading, the seller, the maker and the new importer answer for the repairs during the warranty (After-Sales Services Regulation, art. 14, para. 5).

Keep the paper

The importer or the maker must issue the warranty certificate, and the seller must hand it over completed and prove that it did. The certificate can be on paper or on a durable medium such as e-mail; you can ask for paper. An invoice is not a certificate (Warranty Certificate Regulation, art. 5).

Time limits for a graphics card, as the regulations set them:

A card’s own maker adds its own terms on top. The warranty card that ASUS publishes for its graphics cards gives 36 months from the first purchase by an end customer, says it applies only to a card that was new on the purchase date and not sold as used or refurbished, and says it is given independently of the statutory rights in the country of purchase. It also says the warranty applies in the country of purchase, that service procedures may vary by country, and that some countries ask for proof of purchase or proof of proper importation before service. ASUS Türkiye has a warranty status page where you can look up a serial number.

If a seller refuses a claim, the complaint ladder in our guide to consumer rights in Turkey shows where to go next. Buying a TV instead? The TV guide has the same warranty rules for a different product, plus the customs fee on a TV you carry in.

On the box and the invoice

Before you pay and again when you open the parcel, compare the card, the box and the papers. The list follows what the law asks the certificate to carry.

For an order made online or by phone, the certificate need not carry the seller’s details, the invoice date and number or the delivery date; the information on the invoice is used instead (Warranty Certificate Regulation, art. 7, para. 2). Save the order page and the invoice.

Bringing a card in yourself

The Ministry of Trade publishes one question-and-answer page for passengers and another for post and express cargo. The lines below are quoted from them, with the date of each page. They are the Ministry’s lines, not a ruling on any particular card.

In your luggage

Allowance
A passenger may bring the personal goods on the list in annex 9 of decision 2009/15481 (art. 58), and goods worth up to 430 euro (150 euro for a passenger under 15) that are not of commercial quantity or nature.
The list
Annex 9, part B, electronic goods, includes “one laptop or PC, its parts and components (flash memory and external hard disk included)”. Part B goods can come with the passenger or in the month before or the three months after the passenger’s arrival.
Flat tax
Above the allowance, up to 1,500 euro: one flat tax of 30% for goods coming directly from EU countries and 60% for goods from other countries. The Ministry adds 20 points for goods on list IV attached to the Special Consumption Tax Law. The part of the value covered by the allowance is deducted before the flat tax is applied.
Over 1,500 euro
For a single item worth more than 1,500 euro, the import taxes in force apply.
Value
The value comes from the invoice, the sales slip or the proof of payment. Without one, or if the value on it is low, customs sets the value.

By post or courier

Allowance
The 430-euro passenger allowance does not apply to goods that arrive by post.
Up to 1,500 euro
For personal-use goods of up to 30 kg gross and 0 to 1,500 euro, express cargo operators can file a detailed declaration for you. Import taxes are paid and the other obligations are met. The operator can charge storage and consultancy fees from the day it notifies you of the arrival.
Over 1,500 euro
For a single item worth more than 1,500 euro, the import tax rates in force apply.
Freight
Transport costs up to the Turkish entry point are added to the value. If the invoice does not show the freight separately, an equivalent freight of 3 euro is added.
Fees
The Ministry collects only the tax. Fees for transport, storage and other services go to the carrier. For goods cleared by indirect representation under a simplified declaration, the carrier cannot charge consultancy, “ordino” or terminal fees, or storage for the first three days after it notifies you of the arrival.
