Nvidia Graphics Cards in Turkey: Prices, Warranty, Import

What an Nvidia graphics card costs at three Turkish shops, who answers for a fault, and what the Ministry of Trade says about bringing one in.

Buying a graphics card in Turkey comes down to three checks: the shop’s price in lira, the importer’s warranty and the paperwork. The shop prices are from 19 October 2026.

Buying a card in Turkey

Check the price, the certificate and the serial number.

  • Price: on 19.10.2026 an RTX 5070 in stock cost 61,098 to 74,999 TL at the three shops, about €1,100 to €1,350 at the TCMB (Turkey’s central bank) rate. Pick your own card in the tool below.
  • Warranty: the importer or the maker issues the warranty certificate, and the seller hands it over complete. An invoice does not replace it.
  • In your luggage: a passenger has an allowance of 430 euro for goods that are not of commercial quantity, and a list of personal goods that includes one laptop or PC and its parts. By post, the allowance does not apply.

Where a Turkish price comes from

Under the Price Tag Regulation, a seller that offers goods to consumers states the price in Turkish lira with all taxes included. Four rules help when you compare.

On the label

What a price tag shows

A label or price list must show where the goods were made, what sets them apart, the sale price with all taxes included and the date the price began to apply. It must be written in Turkish.

Lira on the label

The sale price on a label or list is written as “Türk Lirası”, “TL” or with the lira symbol. Services performed abroad, such as package tours, are exceptions.

Shelf or till

If the two prices differ

When the price on the shelf and the price at the till differ, the price that favours the consumer applies.

Discount

The price before the sale

A discounted price must be shown beside the price before the discount. For goods, the price before the discount is the lowest price applied in the ten days before the discount began, and the seller must prove it.

Who answers if the card fails

A new card sold in Turkey has two kinds of cover: the rights Law 6502 gives every buyer, and the warranty certificate that the importer or the maker issues. If the card is defective, you choose how it is put right.

  3. Maker

Free repair or replacement: you can claim it from any of the three. They are jointly responsible. Law 6502, art. 11, para. 2

The shop that sold you the card.
Importer
The company that brought the card into Türkiye.
Maker
The brand that made the card.

If the card is defective, you choose

  • Withdraw from the sale send the card back and get your money back · from the seller
  • Keep the card, ask for a price cut in proportion to the defect · from the seller
  • Free repair from any of the three
  • Replacement from any of the three
  • You choose. The seller must carry out the choice you make. Law 6502, art. 11, para. 1
  • Too hard for the seller? If a repair or a replacement would be disproportionately hard for the seller, you can withdraw or ask for a price cut instead. Law 6502, art. 11, para. 3
  • Importer gone? If the importer stops trading, the seller, the maker and the new importer answer for the repairs during the warranty. After-Sales Services Regulation, art. 14, para. 5

Keep the paper

The importer or the maker must issue the warranty certificate, and the seller must hand it over completed and prove that it did. The certificate can be on paper or on a durable medium such as e-mail; you can ask for paper. An invoice is not a certificate.

Time limits

What the rules give a graphics card

  1. Delivery

    The warranty period starts: two years from delivery.

  2. 14 days

    Online order: you can withdraw (send the card back and get your money back) within fourteen days, with no reason given. A notice to the seller within the fourteen days is enough.

  3. A fault inside the warranty

    You hand the card to the service or to the seller.

    1. 10 working days

      If the fault is not fixed within 10 working days of handing the card in, the importer or the maker must lend you a similar product until the repair is done, unless you do not want one.

    2. 20 working days

      The longest repair at the service.

    3. Repair time is added

      The time the card spends in repair is added to the warranty period.

  4. 2 years

    The warranty period ends. A claim for a defect also has a two-year limit from delivery, even if the defect shows up later.

  5. 36 months

    A maker’s own terms: the ASUS warranty card for its graphics cards gives 36 months from the first purchase by an end customer.

  6. 5 years

    After-sales: repair service and spare parts must stay available for five years from delivery.

The other terms on the ASUS card

  • Only new cards. The warranty covers a card that was new on the purchase date, not one sold as used or refurbished.
  • Separate from your legal rights. The warranty is given independently of the statutory rights in the country of purchase.
  • Valid in the country of purchase. Service procedures may vary by country, and some countries ask for proof of purchase or proof of proper importation before service.

For an order made online or by phone, the certificate need not carry the seller’s details, the invoice date and number or the delivery date; the information on the invoice is used instead (Warranty Certificate Regulation, art. 7, para. 2). Save the order page and the invoice.

Bringing a card in yourself

A passenger and a parcel follow different rules. The allowance of 430 euro is for passengers: goods that arrive by post do not get it. None of this is a ruling on a particular card.

What a passenger may bring

  1. The list

    The list of personal goods a passenger may bring includes “one laptop or PC, its parts and components (flash memory and external hard disk included)”. They can come with you, or in the month before or the three months after you arrive.

  2. 430 euro

    Goods worth up to 430 euro (150 euro for a passenger under 15) that are not of commercial quantity or nature may come in too.

  3. 430 to 1,500 euro

    Above the allowance, up to 1,500 euro: one single flat tax (the Ministry’s “tek ve maktu vergi”) is charged in place of the normal import taxes. The rate depends on where the goods come from: 30% for goods coming directly from EU countries and 60% for goods from other countries. The part of the value covered by the allowance is deducted first.

  4. List IV goods

    The Ministry adds 20 points for goods on list IV of the Special Consumption Tax Law (ÖTV): perfume and cosmetics, mobile phones, cameras, TVs and monitors, game consoles, air conditioners and household appliances such as washing machines and vacuum cleaners. A graphics card is not on that list.

  5. Over 1,500 euro

    For a single item worth more than 1,500 euro, the import taxes in force apply.

  6. The value

    The value comes from the invoice, the sales slip or the proof of payment. Without one, or if the value on it is low, customs sets the value.

By post or courier

What changes for a parcel

  1. No allowance

    The 430-euro passenger allowance does not apply to goods that arrive by post.

  2. Up to 1,500 euro, 30 kg

    For personal-use goods of up to 30 kg gross and 0 to 1,500 euro, express cargo operators can file a detailed declaration for you. The goods’ import taxes are paid and the other obligations are met. Medicines and food supplements are charged a flat 30% or 60%, and books 0%; no rate is stated for other goods.

  4. Freight

    Transport costs up to the Turkish entry point are added to the value. If the invoice does not show the freight separately, an equivalent freight of 3 euro is added.

  5. Who is paid

    The Ministry collects only the tax. Fees for transport, storage and other services go to the carrier.

    The operator can charge storage and consultancy fees from the day it notifies you of the arrival.

  7. Simplified declaration

    For goods cleared by indirect representation under a simplified declaration, the carrier cannot charge consultancy, “ordino” or terminal fees, or storage for the first three days after it notifies you of the arrival.
