In short · checked 20.10.2026

Pick the store for the shop you are doing.

  • Everyday shop: M. Migros files M and Jet as self-service stores and MM and MMM as service stores.
  • Money: needs a Turkish mobile number and residence in Turkey. Visitors pay at the till as usual.
  • Delivery: Sanal Market to a time slot, Hemen in about 30 minutes. The fee and the minimum show once you choose the address.
  • Foreign card: accepted at the tills of the stores, not on Sanal Market.

One street, five signs

For a first visit, start with M. The street draws the formats from Jet up to the 5M hypermarket, with Macrocenter, Mion and the two delivery services beside it.

Jet · Self-service

A self-service Migros

Migros files Jet and M as its self-service formats, the stores where you take your own goods from the shelves. MM and MMM are the ones it calls service stores.

M · Self-service

The supermarket for a normal shop

M is the second self-service format. Start here for milk, eggs, vegetables and dinner. For cheese or meat by weight, look at MM and MMM, the service stores.

MM · Service store

A service store

Migros counts MM, like MMM, as a service store, not a self-service one. The phrases further down help when you ask for a weight at a counter.

MMM · Service store

The other service store

MMM is the second service-store format. Go to 5M for electronics and textiles, or to Macrocenter for one particular ingredient.

5M · Hypermarket

Groceries, electronics and textiles

5M Migros is the hypermarket format. Its range includes white goods, electronics and textiles beside the groceries.

Mion · Personal care

Personal care, not groceries

Hemen · Delivery app

Delivery in about 30 minutes

Migros describes Hemen as an online market app that brings products to the door within 30 minutes, with about 2,000 products or more at Migros prices.

Sanal Market · Delivery from a store

Delivery to the slot you pick

Sanal Market, started in 1997, is Migros’s online grocery shop and delivers in 81 provinces. Choose the address first, then the products and the slot. The minimum order and the fee depend on the address.

Prices in the stores and in the Migros app are in Turkish lira. The Turkpidya currency converter turns them into yours. Migros says its app prices follow the store price policy, with app-only campaigns from time to time.

What the shelf says

Süt is milk, beyaz peynir is white cheese and ekmek is bread. Tap a product in the picture for its Turkish word, how to say it and a short note. Goods sold by weight, such as cheese at a counter, are asked for in kilograms; one kilogram is about 2.2 lb.

Migros’s FAQ says plastic carrier bags are charged in the stores, at least ₺1 each by regulation, and that the thin bags for fruit and vegetables are not.

The Money card

Money is the Migros loyalty programme. Migros describes it as discounts on purchases, Money earned on them and campaigns. To join, you must be 18 or over, live in Turkey and have a Turkish mobile number; an SMS code sent to that number confirms the sign-up. You do not have to buy a plastic card: leave the card-number field on the form empty and the programme creates a virtual card. A visitor without a Turkish number shops as usual and pays at the till.

At the till

  1. Sign upFill in the form on the Money site or in the app and confirm your Turkish number with the SMS code.
  2. Identify yourselfKey your phone number into the card terminal at the till, or give the cashier the six-digit “Money Kimliğim” code from the Money app.
  3. Check the slipCompare the discount and the Money earned with the terms of the campaign you used.

At the till and online

Members get discounts on purchases, earn Money and can join campaigns. Money points you hold can pay for Sanal Market and Hemen orders at the payment step. Without a Turkish number you cannot join, but you can still shop and pay at the till.

₺99.99 a month

Money Gold is a paid subscription for Money members, so a Money membership comes first. Sanal Market delivery is free for the subscriber, except for quick-delivery orders. The fee is charged automatically every month, and Money may change it. Compare it with what you pay for deliveries in a month before you subscribe.

You can cancel at any time by sending the request to the Migros WhatsApp line +90 530 300 13 00. If the fee for the current period is already paid, the membership runs to the end of that period and is not renewed.

A balance for the stores and the app

MigrosPara is a digital balance you can spend in Migros stores and on online orders in the Migros app. It builds up from cash change at the till, refunds and campaigns, and it lives in the MoneyCüzdan wallet of a Money member. To send your change there, tell the cashier you want it as a balance and not in coins; this works for cash payments and for a payment split between card and cash.

Delivery to your door

For a shop at a time you choose, open Sanal Market; for a small, urgent one, Hemen. Start with the address: the delivery fee and the minimum basket depend on it, and the fee shows at the “Teslimat Zamanı Seç” (choose delivery time) step, before you confirm and pay.

Choose a delivery slot

  1. AddressPick the province and the area where the order should arrive.
  2. BasketAdd the products and set your substitute preferences on the basket page.
  3. Slot and paymentChoose the day and time, then check the minimum, the fee and the total on the payment screen.

The range is that of the Migros store serving your address. If a product is out of stock, a substitute can replace it; you can refuse a substitute at the door and pay only for what you take. Weighed goods and substitutes can change the total, and the invoice shows what was delivered. Delivery bags are charged per bag, and you can ask for a reusable bag instead. An order can be changed or cancelled until one hour before its delivery slot.

Quick delivery

  1. AddressEnter the address in the app.
  2. BasketChoose from the Hemen range, which Migros puts at about 2,000 products or more.
  3. TotalCheck the products and charges before you pay.

Migros describes Hemen as delivery within 30 minutes, at Migros prices. The time on your screen is the one to go by.

Collect on your way

  1. Choose pickupPick “Mağazadan teslim” (delivery from the store) when you order.
  2. BasketSanal Market asks for a minimum of ₺100 for store pickup.
  3. CollectTake the bags at the store when the order is ready.

Paying with a foreign card

At the tills of Migros stores you can pay with a foreign bank card, says the chain’s FAQ. Say “Kartla ödeyeceğim” (I will pay by card) and tap or insert the card. The FAQ adds that for a payment without a PIN the till may ask for an ID and a signature, under a rule of the Turkish interbank card centre. Sanal Market does not take foreign bank cards.

If you order for delivery

Foreign bank cards are not accepted on Sanal Market. The site offers online payment (with a Visa, Mastercard or Diners credit card) and payment at the door, so check which ones your order shows before you confirm. An online payment first holds the order amount on the card and charges it after the delivery. If no option suits you, shop in a store and pay at the till.

Returns and receipts

A product bought in a Migros store can go back to any Migros store within 30 days if its packaging is unopened (or, for goods sold unpackaged, unused). Bring the receipt or the invoice slip, and the card slip if you paid by card; a purchase made with your own Money card needs no document. Tobacco, books, magazines, newspapers, bikinis and swimwear, underwear and perfume can only be returned before you leave the store.

The refund goes back to the way you paid, minus the Money and discounts the purchase earned. If you paid by credit card, you can take a store return voucher instead.

Check before you leave

All set, you can head home.

For an online order, send the return or exchange request through live help in the Migros app. Sanal Market and Hemen returns can also be made at the nearest Migros store.

Thirty days in a store, with the packaging unopened and the receipt. Tobacco, books, magazines, newspapers, swimwear, underwear and perfume can only be returned before you leave the store.
