Amazon Prime Video Turkey: 2026 Price, Trial, Ads, Delivery
What a month of Prime costs, what it covers, how far free delivery reaches, and what changes if you live abroad or travel.

Amazon Prime in Turkey costs 69.90 TL a month after a 30-day free trial, on Amazon.com.tr’s own pages on 16 October 2026. That one fee brings free delivery on Prime items to Turkish addresses, Prime Video with limited ads, games through Prime Gaming and Amazon Luna, and member-only deals. The Turkish site sells only a monthly plan: there is no yearly plan and no student plan. You can join from abroad, but Amazon.com.tr says its free delivery and Prime Video are for Turkey. This guide works out your price, your deliveries and your way out.

Amazon.com.tr gives one price: 69.90 TL a month, and its fee page says Prime Video and Prime Gaming are included in it. The membership renews every month on the card you joined with; if that card fails, the terms let Amazon charge another card saved in your account. The price is Amazon.com.tr’s on 16 October 2026; it renews every month on the card you joined with. Amazon’s terms say a price rise never applies before your current period ends. Amazon.com.tr publishes no yearly plan and no student plan, so 12 months here are 12 monthly payments.
The free trial is for new members. Amazon decides who counts as new from your paid or free membership history, so a second trial on the same account isn’t certain. You need a valid payment card: prepaid credit cards and gift cards are not accepted, and the Prime FAQ names Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards for the monthly plan. Amazon.com.tr gift cards and gift balance can’t pay the fee. On day 30 the trial turns into a paid month unless you cancel. You must be 18 or over, and Prime can’t be given as a gift on Amazon.com.tr.

Taxes: Amazon’s fee page names one amount and splits out no tax. Turkey’s digital service tax law (no. 7194) covers selling video, music and games online and the services to watch or play them in Turkey; the provider owes the tax, not the viewer, and only above revenue thresholds (article 4). Its rate is 5 % in 2026 and 2.5 % from 1 January 2027, by Presidential Decision 10767 in the Resmî Gazete of 25 December 2025. Prime Video’s tax page lists Türkiye among the countries where it may collect tax on subscriptions sold on PrimeVideo.com, under local law.
Abroad: a Turkish account, a foreign home, a trip
Amazon Prime works country by country. Amazon.com.tr bills in lira and says its free delivery and Prime Video are only for Turkey, so the Turkish price buys a Turkish membership, not a cheaper Prime for another country. This is what Amazon.com.tr’s Prime page answers to “can I use one membership in every country”:
“Amazon Prime avantajları ülkeye özeldir. Prime’a farklı bir ülkenin Amazon web sitesinden kaydolmaya karar verirseniz, ilgili ülkenin para biriminde Prime ücreti alınacaktır. In English: Prime benefits are country-specific; join on another country’s Amazon site and you pay in that country’s currency. If you live outside Turkey, you can become a Prime member through Amazon.com.tr, but its free, fast delivery and Prime Video can be used only in Turkey. The Prime help page says the same: only customers living in Turkey get the delivery benefits and Prime Video.

- You live in Turkey and travel – Prime Video’s help says members can watch certain titles outside their own country, that what you can watch abroad may change, and that downloads play offline anywhere. Amazon.com.tr’s line above says Prime Video can be used only in Turkey. Amazon’s pages don’t say which applies to you on a trip; check in your account before you go.
- You live abroad, with a Turkish membership – you can join on Amazon.com.tr and pay in lira; free delivery and Prime Video are for customers living in Turkey.
- Prime Teslimat from abroad – customers whose billing address is outside Turkey can’t join it.
- A card from abroad – the Prime pages name Visa, Mastercard and American Express credit cards. Whether a card issued abroad works, Amazon’s pages don’t say; check in your account.
- One Prime for every country – a membership from another country’s Amazon site is billed in that country’s currency, and you change or cancel it on that site.

Prime Video: ads, screens and what costs extra
Prime Video comes with the membership, and Amazon.com.tr’s Prime page says it runs with limited ads. Amazon lists Türkiye among the countries with an ad-free option, sold as a monthly subscription on top of Prime; the help pages don’t give its Turkish price, which shows when you upgrade. Even ad-free, live TV, sports and free ad-supported programmes keep their ads, and trailers before a title can be skipped but not removed. Amazon’s rule for Prime titles: up to three titles at the same time on one account, and the same title on at most two devices at once. Amazon adds that device limits can vary by region. The titles here are placeholders, not real programmes.

On 16 October 2026 the Prime Video store page offered channel subscriptions such as MUBI, MGM+, Lionsgate+, Turk on Video, NBA League Pass and WNBA League Pass, each billed on its own. Many Prime titles have more than one audio track, subtitles or audio description; what you can switch on depends on the title and the device. When the membership ends, Prime titles stop playing, downloads included, unless you rented or bought them.
Delivery: what Prime makes free
With Prime, standard, scheduled, express and same-day delivery are free on items marked Prime, whatever the order value. Without Prime, standard delivery is free from 500 TL and costs 49.90 TL below that; express costs 59.90 TL, same-day 69.90 TL and scheduled 49.90 TL, in Amazon.com.tr’s table on 16 October 2026. What counts as a Prime item
- The Prime mark – look for it next to the price, on the product page and at checkout. Only marked items ship free.
- Sold and shipped by Amazon.com.tr – the Prime delivery page lists these for same-day, express and scheduled delivery.
- Marketplace sellers – items sold by marketplace sellers are not eligible on that page; their delivery fees are their own.
- “Yurt dışından gönderilir” – items sent from abroad may carry a delivery fee, even with Prime.
- Heavy, bulky or dangerous goods – the terms say these can be left out of fast delivery.
- Mixed orders – if only part of an order is Prime, you pay delivery for the rest; changing or combining orders can change that.

Cancel, pause or get money back
You can end Prime at any time in your account, and if nobody used a Prime benefit in the current billing period, the whole fee comes back. A monthly membership can also be paused for a month. What happens depends on where you are in the month and what you used. Press a button:

- Nobody used a Prime benefit in this billing period: the whole fee goes back to the card you paid with.
- In your account, under “Hesap ve Listeler”, open “Prime Üyeliğim”; under “Yönet”, choose “Ayarları Güncelle”, then “Üyeliği ve Avantajları Sonlandır”. This ends the paid membership straight away.
- A membership from a promotional or gift code gets no refund.
- Cancel, free trial: No charge. Cancel any time in the 30 days: In your account, under “Hesap ve Listeler”, open “Prime Üyeliğim”; under “Yönet”, choose “Ayarları Güncelle”, then “Üyeliği ve Avantajları Sonlandır”. You keep the benefits until the 30 days end. Then the membership stops, and your card isn’t charged. If you don’t cancel, the trial turns into a paid month on day 30.
- Cancel, paid, no benefit used: Full refund. Nobody used a Prime benefit in this billing period: the whole fee goes back to the card you paid with. In your account, under “Hesap ve Listeler”, open “Prime Üyeliğim”; under “Yönet”, choose “Ayarları Güncelle”, then “Üyeliği ve Avantajları Sonlandır”. This ends the paid membership straight away. A membership from a promotional or gift code gets no refund.
- Cancel, paid less than 14 days ago, benefits used: Part back. You paid less than 14 days ago: the Prime terms let you withdraw and give part of the fee back, depending on how much you used. Withdraw in your account’s membership settings, through customer service or with the cancellation form. Sending it before the 14 days end is enough. A membership from a promotional or gift code gets no refund.
- Cancel, paid earlier, benefits used: Ask Amazon. Amazon’s two texts differ: the Prime FAQ says no refund once a benefit was used; the Prime terms say you may get part of the fee back, depending on use. Ask customer service. To stop the next payment instead, choose “Yenilemeden önce bana hatırlat”: an e-mail comes three days before the renewal. A membership from a promotional or gift code gets no refund.
- Cancel, through a third party: Ask the third party. If a third party bills you for Prime, its payment terms apply: cancel and ask about a refund there. Amazon’s own refund rules don’t cover a membership it doesn’t bill.
- Pause, paid monthly: One month off. In Prime Central’s membership settings, pause the monthly membership. The pause starts after the current billing period, so no bill comes at its end. It resumes by itself one month later, at the price then in force. You can resume earlier, or cancel a pause that hasn’t started. While it is paused you have no Prime benefits, and subscriptions linked to Prime end.
- Pause, free trial: Can’t pause. A free trial can’t be paused. Cancel it instead: you keep the benefits until day 30 and pay nothing.
- Pause, through a third party: Can’t pause. A membership you joined through a third party can’t be paused. Ask the third party what it allows.

Cancelling, step by step
- Open the membership. In your account menu (“Hesap ve Listeler”), open “Prime Üyeliğim”.
- Update the settings. At the top right, under “Yönet”, choose “Ayarları Güncelle”.
- End it, or get a reminder. “Üyeliği ve Avantajları Sonlandır” ends a paid membership straight away; in the free trial you keep the benefits until day 30. Or choose “Yenilemeden önce bana hatırlat” for an e-mail three days before the renewal.
If the price goes up
The Prime terms promise that a higher fee never applies before your current membership period ends, and that Amazon tells you about changes; you can always cancel instead. Amazon can also end a membership with 14 days’ notice and refund the unused part. A paused membership resumes at the price in force then.
