A101 is the discount grocery chain with the turquoise sign that you find in almost any Turkish neighbourhood. A101 says it has more than 13,500 stores, in every district and neighbourhood of all 81 provinces. This guide explains how its week works, which brochure starts on which day, what the one A101 app does, and what changed in 2026 when the company behind A101 bought CarrefourSA. The facts come from A101’s own pages and from KAP, the public disclosure platform of Turkey’s listed companies; each is dated in the sources. We list no prices: they change every week, and the brochure in the app always shows the current ones.

  • Prices – none here. They change weekly; the brochure in the app has today’s.

The chain in A101’s own numbers

A101 is run by Yeni Mağazacılık A.Ş. The company was founded in 2008 and calls A101 the most widespread retail chain in Turkey. Its timeline counts stores: more than 500 a year after it started, a store in the 81st province in 2013, a store in every district by 2019. A101 also says it was the fastest in Turkey to reach 100 % of households, in 2021.

The range is short: A101 gives a range of more than 1,800 products. On top of it come the weekly brochures, with offers that change every week.

The A101 week: which poster starts when

A101 works in weekly slots. Its poster page, which the app also shows, had five of them in May 2026. Each poster names its days, and the two start days are Thursday and Saturday.

Which posters are up today?

  • Aldın Aldın

    the weekly campaign brochure

From Thursday, until the next one

Starts on its own date, usually a Thursday, and runs until the next one. Next week’s brochure is already in the app and on the website, so you can see what is coming.

  • Tazenin Yıldızları

    “stars of freshness”

    Thursday to Sunday

A short poster from Thursday to Sunday.

  • Haftanın Yıldızları

    “stars of the week”

    Saturday to Friday

Runs one week, Saturday to Friday.

  • 10 TL ve Üzeri

“on purchases of 10 TL and above”

    Saturday to Friday

Runs Saturday to Friday. Read the poster for its conditions.

  • A101 Artı

Thursday: 5 of 5 posters are up. New today: Aldın Aldın, Tazenin Yıldızları.

Tap a day to see which posters are in the window. Example from A101’s poster page in May 2026: Tazenin Yıldızları ran 21–24 May (Thursday to Sunday) and Haftanın Yıldızları 23–29 May (Saturday to Friday). The Aldın Aldın of that week started on Thursday 21 May, but the next one started on Tuesday 26 May, in the week of Kurban Bayramı. Always check the start date printed on the brochure.

Aldın Aldın: see it a week early

Aldın Aldın has two brochures at once: “this week” and “next week”. So you can already see next week’s campaign and decide whether it is worth a trip.

It also has its own sections online: one in Kapıda for groceries and one in Ekstra (“Aldın Aldın Ekstra”). The app describes the posters as a way to see the A101 price in advance and plan your shopping.

One app, four counters

A101’s app is called “A101: Tek Uygulama” (“one app”). It puts the posters and four services in one place. The store is still the main counter; the app adds Ekstra’s long list of non-food categories, and a way to have the shopping brought home.

Before you order

  1. Check the free-delivery line. On 24 September 2026 the Kapıda page said delivery is free from 1,250 TL; on 17 September 2026 the Ekstra page said shipping is free from 2,000 TL. These lines can change.
  2. Pick the right counter. Groceries go through Kapıda; a TV or a sofa goes through Ekstra, by cargo.
  3. Read the return terms of that counter. Kapıda, Ekstra and Artı each link their own cancellation and return rules at the bottom of the page.

A101 and CarrefourSA: what the filings say

In 2026 the company behind A101 bought control of CarrefourSA, another Turkish supermarket chain, listed on Borsa İstanbul. Sabancı Holding announced the deal on KAP on 17 April 2026: it sold its 57.12 % and Carrefour Nederland its 32.16 % to Yeni Mağazacılık. CarrefourSA reported on 31 July 2026 that the transfer was complete.

The filings are about shares and control. They do not say what will happen to CarrefourSA’s name or its stores, so neither do we.

Shopping at A101: tips that hold up

  1. Look one week ahead. Next week’s Aldın Aldın brochure is in the app before it starts.
  2. Read the start date, not the weekday. Aldın Aldın usually starts on a Thursday, but in May 2026 it moved to a Tuesday in a holiday week.
  3. Thursday to Sunday is a short slot. Tazenin Yıldızları is up for four days only; the Saturday posters run a full week.
  4. Use the app for the big things. Electronics, furniture and clothes are on Ekstra, with the free-shipping line at the top of the page.
