Most Turkish baby-diaper brands lead back to a handful of companies, and five of the eight on this list are based in Gaziantep. Eruslu, Pakten, Lidersan and Arkan (the maker of Pine) offer private-label production on their own websites. For an existing brand such as Molfix or Evy Baby, write to the company that owns it. None of the eight publishes wholesale prices, so compare dated quotes by the delivered cost of one diaper.

Hayat and Evyap: the household names
Hayat launched Molfix in 1998 and calls itself the world’s fourth-largest diaper maker, with production in seven countries. Its Turkish diaper factory is in Başiskele, Kocaeli. Bebem Natural and Goodcare are its other baby brands. Hayat’s brand page does not offer private label, so treat it as a brand you resell rather than a factory that makes your brand. Evyap is best known for soap and cosmetics. It sells one diaper brand, Evy Baby, and makes its hygiene products in Tuzla, İstanbul.
Eruslu: one group, several brands
Eruslu Sağlık has made baby diapers in Gaziantep since 2004 and gives a monthly capacity of 440 million. Its brand list holds Sleepy, BabyFit and Penguin, and also Baby Turco and Pure Baby. Baby Turco’s website names a company called Puretex, and Pure Baby’s shop is run by Ecoplast, but both use addresses on Eruslu’s street. If you shortlist Sleepy, Baby Turco and Pure Baby, you may be talking to one group three times. Eruslu’s export page offers private label: “customer-specific” packs in the quantities and box types you ask for, in its designs or yours.
Pakten and Lidersan: Gaziantep’s exporters
Pakten opened in Gaziantep’s 2nd Organized Industrial Zone in 2000. It says it makes 1.6 billion baby diapers a year and exports 70% of its output to more than 40 countries, with an office in Iraq. Its brands are Önlem, Önlem Botanika, Joyful and Leri. Lidersan, founded in 2006 and also in Gaziantep, makes Confy and Babylook and says it exports to more than 60 countries. Both companies publish a private-label route: Pakten through a request form, Lidersan on a private-label page.
Arkan Group: Pine from Çorlu
Pine is the odd one out: its maker, Arkan Group Sağlık Ürünleri, has its office in İstanbul and its plant in Çorlu, Tekirdağ, in the north-west. It has made diapers since 2007 and says it sells in more than 50 countries. The old Pine online store at pinebebek.com no longer opens. Use pine.com.tr, which also has a private-label page.
Where the companies are: five of eight in Gaziantep
Gaziantep, in south-east Türkiye, is the centre of this list: Eruslu, Puretex, Ecoplast, Pakten and Lidersan all give addresses in the city’s organized industrial zones. The other three sit around the Sea of Marmara: Hayat in Kocaeli, Evyap in Tuzla on İstanbul’s Asian side, and Arkan in Çorlu.

Three of the Gaziantep brands share one street. Eruslu gives 4th Organized Industrial Zone, street 83424, No. 1; Pure Baby’s shop gives the same address; Baby Turco gives No. 3 on that street.
For a buyer, Gaziantep is practical: one trip covers five of the eight companies on this list, and three of them, Eruslu, Pakten and Lidersan, describe their own diaper production. Ask each company which plant will make your order, and whether it uses the same production line for its own brands and for private label.
Made in Türkiye?
Not always. Hayat lists baby-care production in Türkiye, Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Pakistan and Vietnam, so a Molfix pack in your market may come from a plant abroad. Look for menşei (country of origin) on the pack, and ask for the producing country on your quote and invoice.
Brand or private label: choose the route first
Decide what you are buying before you ask for a price. Reselling a Turkish brand, making your own brand and buying a small mixed order are three different deals, with different companies and different questions.
What do you want to sell?
- Write to the brand owner: Hayat for Molfix, Bebem and Goodcare; Evyap for Evy Baby; Eruslu for Sleepy; Pakten for Önlem and Joyful; Lidersan for Confy. Pakten’s form has a “wholesale product purchase” option.
- Ask about your country first: many brands already have a distributor. Ask who sells the brand in your country and whether you may import it.
- Ask where it is made: the producing country, the pack language and the size range for export can differ from the Turkish shelf.
- Four makers offer it on their sites: Eruslu (export page), Pakten (request form), Lidersan (private-label page) and Arkan (Pine’s private-label page).
- Ask what you can change: only the print and the pack, or the diaper itself: core, topsheet, cuffs, wetness indicator.
- Ask for minimums per size and per design: a minimum order may apply to each size and to each artwork, not to the order as a whole.
- A trader can work: wholesalers mix brands and sizes in one shipment, below a factory’s minimum.
- Ask who made the goods: and whether the trader buys from the maker or its distributor.
- Do not skip the dates: check production dates and batch numbers on the packs, and who handles complaints.
What to put in the spec: the diaper, layer by layer
“Size 4, premium” is not a specification. Two makers will quote two different diapers for those words. Name each part and ask for its material and weight per size, so the quotes describe the same product. The picture shows the parts to name.
- TopsheetThe layer on the skin. Ask for its material and any lotion or fragrance.
- Acquisition layerSpreads liquid quickly into the core. Ask whether it is there at all.
- Absorbent corePulp and superabsorbent. Ask for the grams of each in every size.
- SuperabsorbentThe granules that lock liquid in. Ask which grade is used.
- Fastening tapesTaped diapers close with tapes. Pants have an elastic waist instead.
- WaistbandAn elastic band at the back for fit. Ask whether it is included.
- Wetness indicatorA stripe that changes colour. Say whether you want it.
- Leg cuffsElastic barriers against leaks. Ask how many and how high.
- BacksheetThe outside layer: a film or cloth-like sheet. This is where your print goes.
Sizes are another trap. Turkish packs use a number and a name, and each brand sets its own weight ranges. This is Molfix’s chart for its Premium diapers; other brands differ by a kilo or two, so ask for the chart of the exact product you will buy.

Samples and certificates: read the scope, not the logo
Test samples from every maker the same way, and keep the one you approve. A certificate logo on a website tells you little until you know its number, its holder and which product it covers.

- Same testUse one method for every sample: the same liquid, volume and timing for how fast it absorbs and how dry the surface stays.
- Sign the winnerKeep the approved sample with its product code, date and spec sheet. Later batches are checked against it.
Certificates need the same care. OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 tests textiles for more than 1,000 harmful substances, and its strictest class covers products for babies up to three years, “such as diapers”. Pakten says Önlem Botanika was the first diaper with OEKO-TEX certification among brands made in Türkiye; Bebem Natural is vegan and halal certified, according to Hayat. Flip the cards for what such claims prove.

Ask for the label number and look it up in the OEKO-TEX Label Check. It shows the holder and which articles the certificate covers.
“Dermatologically tested means safe for every baby.”
Dermatest says its seal shows skin compatibility under set test conditions. Its 5-star seal needs at least four weeks of use tests. It does not replace medical advice.
“Bamboo or organic cotton in the name means an organic diaper.”
Ask which layer the claim covers and for the certificate that names your exact product. One layer is not the whole diaper.
Pakten and others show a Dermatest rating on their sites. Dermatest explains that “dermatologically tested” alone does not say how strict or how long the test was, so ask for the test report and its date. On a private-label order, ask whether the maker’s certificates cover your product at all, and whether you may print their marks on your pack.
Compare quotes: the delivered cost of one diaper
Compare quotes by the cost of one diaper delivered to you, not by the price of a pack. Packs hold different numbers of diapers, and freight, duties and inspection change the order. Enter your two quotes below in one currency. The figures already in the boxes are an invented example, not prices from any company on this list.

Quote A works out 6.2% cheaper per diaper. It has the higher pack price, but more diapers per pack or lower extras.
Nothing you type leaves this page or is saved. The sum is cost per diaper = (price per pack × packs + all extras) ÷ (diapers per pack × packs).
Ask every maker for the delivery term with a named place, such as FOB Mersin or CIF your port, and a list of what the price includes. If a cost is already in the price, enter 0 rather than counting it twice. A customs broker in your country should confirm the duties and taxes; the tool only adds up what you enter. To compare quotes in different currencies, convert them first, for example with Turkpidya’s currency converter, at the rate you will actually pay.
Price is not the whole decision. A cheaper diaper can come with a size mix you cannot sell, a longer lead time or packaging your market does not accept. Write those differences next to each quote before you choose.
Writing to a Turkish maker: words that help
Six of the eight companies have English websites; Hayat and Pakten also run Arabic and Russian ones, and Lidersan an Arabic one. Labels, paperwork and certificates from Türkiye are often in Turkish, so these words and lines help you read a pack and ask the right questions. Most problems with a first order start with paperwork, not diapers. Put the details below in writing before you pay a deposit. The ticks stay on this device only, so you can come back to the list.
Seven things in writing
All seven are in writing. Keep them with the order file.
Agree what starts the lead time: the deposit, the final artwork or the sample approval. Ask how the maker will tell you about changes to materials. A maker’s export history does not prove that your shipment meets your country’s rules, so check labels and documents with an importer or customs broker at home.
Common sourcing questions
Which Turkish diaper maker is best for private label?
There is no single best one without your spec. Eruslu, Pakten, Lidersan and Arkan offer private label on their sites. Send all of them the same spec and compare samples and the delivered cost per diaper.
Are Sleepy, Baby Turco and Pure Baby the same company?
They are one group’s brands. Eruslu lists all three. Baby Turco’s site names Puretex and Pure Baby’s shop names Ecoplast, both at addresses on Eruslu’s street in Gaziantep. Ask which legal company will sign your contract.
Is Molfix made in Türkiye?
Partly. Hayat makes diapers in Kocaeli and also has baby-care plants in Algeria, Egypt, Iran, Pakistan and Vietnam. Check the country of origin on the pack or ask on the quote.
What is the minimum order?
None of the eight publishes one. Ask in writing for the minimum by size, by product and by artwork, and for a quote with a date.
Can I get samples before a container?
Ask each maker for its sample policy: how many, the cost and who pays the courier. Request samples of the exact product code you would order.
