Frequently Asked Questions

Exchange rates are published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB), the official source for Turkish Lira rates. TCMB is Turkey's monetary authority.

TCMB publishes new rates daily at 15:31 Turkish time (GMT+3). Rates remain unchanged on weekends and public holidays in Turkey.

Forex (interbank) rates apply to electronic transfers and wire transactions. Banknote rates apply to physical currency exchange at banks or exchange offices, and typically have wider spreads.

These are official TCMB indicative rates. Individual banks may apply slightly different rates with their own spreads and fees. Always confirm with your bank for exact transaction rates.

Enter the amount you want to convert, select the source currency (From), and the target currency (To). The converter uses the mid-rate between buying and selling prices.
