Kanal D HD on Türksat 4A at 42°E: frequency 12245, polarisation H, symbol rate 27500, FEC 5/6, DVB-S2 / 8PSK. You need an HD receiver with DVB-S2, and it's free to air. In Europe, Euro D HD has its own settings and schedule: 12034, V, 27500, FEC 3/4. Every dish points to the same satellite over the equator: in most Turkish cities that means south and a little east (Istanbul 160.6°, Antalya 161.6°, Ankara 165.9°, Trabzon 176.5°), and in Van a little west of south (182.3°). 42°E is the satellite's position in orbit, not a compass bearing: set your phone's compass to True North.
