How to write a Turkish address: neighbourhood, street and door, then the postcode, district and province. On an envelope, write the name, the mahalle, the street, then the block, building and flat, and last the five-digit postcode with the district and province in capitals. This is PTT's own sample. Mah. is the neighbourhood, Cad. a main street and Sok. a side street. No is the building number, and D or Daire is your flat. Shops split the address: pick İl and İlçe, the province and district, and the Mahalle from lists, then type the street, building and flat into Adres. Posta Kodu is the postcode: always five digits, so keep the leading zero. Then Kaydet: save. On a label, PK means posta kutusu, a post-office box, not the postcode. Write the five digits on their own. Moving in? Residence-permit holders report a new home address within 20 working days, and a late report is fined 814 lira in 2026. The address builder, the short forms and real examples are in the full guide on turkpidya.com.
