Buying clothing wholesale in Turkey? Here is where to buy, how packs work and what to check before you pay. In Istanbul, book the showrooms before you travel: Merter for women's ready-to-wear, Güngören for denim, Laleli for export traders and Osmanbey for dresses. For baby and children's clothing, plan a separate day in Bursa: Malkoç Bebe's showroom is on Vişne Caddesi. There are three ways to buy: ready stock in listed packs, your own label from a sample and a production run, or a stock lot you inspect first. Or start online: Lonca from one pack per brand, Fervente with dresses in packs of three, and Malkoç Bebe for babywear. Count units carefully: a pack of two five-piece sets is ten garments, but only two sale units. Before you pay, approve a paid sample, get an itemised pro forma and price freight, clearance, duty and import tax. Suppliers, district routes and the size-pack counter are in the full guide on turkpidya.com.
