Number of Holidays In 2023

The majority of the holidays in 2023 will fall on the same week. You can, however, plan a holiday that you will extend and connect to the weekend using your annual leave.

  • The eve of Ramadan Feast in 2023 falls on Thursday, April 20. The holiday concludes on Sunday, April 23. You can have a great 9-day vacation if you plan ahead of time and take a full day off on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and half a day off on Thursday.
  • One of the holidays that coincide with Sunday is April 23rd, National Sovereignty and Children’s Day. Unfortunately, we are unable to declare this day a extra holiday.
  • Monday, May 1, is Labor and Solidarity Day. This day can be used as a syndrome-free Monday or combined with the weekend to create a three-day vacation.
  • May 19 On Friday, Atatürk, Youth, and Sports Day are observed. If you take Thursday off, you can plan a four-day mini-holiday and give yourself a well-deserved break.
  • In 2023, Eid al-Adha will fall on Tuesday, June 27. Arafah days are half-day vacations. The fourth and final day of the holiday is July 1st. You can extend your vacation to 9 days by taking full-time leave on June 26 and half-day leave on June 27. You can have a wonderful vacation if you plan ahead of time and organize your time well.
  • Saturday, July 15, is Democracy and National Unity Day. As a result, it only makes employees happy on Saturday.
  • Wednesday is Victory Day, where we will commemorate the 101st anniversary of the Great Offensive victory in 2023. If you take Monday and Tuesday off, you can combine it with the weekend for a 5-day vacation.
  • The 29th of October Republic Day is one of the holidays that will fall on Sunday in 2023. Unfortunately, we cannot mark this day on our calendars as an additional holiday.
