Kiğılı Turkey: Fits, Sizes, Exchanges and Returns

Kiğılı’s eight suit cuts side by side, how to find your size, and how to swap, return or alter an item, with the 14 days the law adds.

Kiğılı is a Turkish men’s clothing brand with its own size table for each of its eight suit cuts. The same size number means a different width in each cut. This page puts the numbers side by side, and explains how a swap, an online return and an alteration work, with the 14 days the law adds.

The short version

A size 50 jacket has a half chest of 51.5 to 59 cm, depending on the cut. Pick the cut first, then the number.

The brand: men’s clothes only, dated to 1938 by its own pages, with three labels: Kiğılı, Abdullah Kiğılı Exclusive Cut and Kiğılı Project.
Swap: in a Kiğılı store only, within 30 days of the invoice date, with the invoice or the exchange card. The item must be unworn, unused and not altered.
Return online: Kolay İade in your account, within 30 days of the invoice date. The code is free. It does not work in a store.
Abroad: the shop’s FAQ says shipments abroad will start shortly (checked 21 October 2026).
By law: 14 days to withdraw from an online order without giving a reason. Alo 175 is the Ministry of Trade’s consumer helpline.

One number, eight cuts

Kiğılı prints a size table for each of its eight suit cuts. A size 50 is cut narrower in Super Slim and wider in Verona. Pick a cut, type the width of a jacket that fits you, and the cutting table finds the closest printed size.

What the numbers are. Kiğılı’s tables give “1/2” measures in centimetres, such as half chest and half waist, and do not say whether they are the garment’s or the body’s. A size 50 Regular jacket prints a half chest of 55.5 cm, which is 111 cm around, so they are the garment’s. Measure a jacket that fits you, laid flat.

Worked example: size 50

The printed half chest of a size 50 jacket is 51.5 cm in Super Slim, 54 in Slim and Long Slim, 55.5 in Regular, 57 in Muscle, 57.5 in Relaxed and 59 cm in Verona and Milano. From Super Slim to Verona that is 7.5 cm across the chest, or 15 cm around it.

Measure a jacket that fits you

Lay it flat. Button the jacket and smooth it on a table.
Measure across the chest. Go straight from one armpit seam to the other. That number is the half chest.
Trousers. Lay them flat and measure across the waistband, edge to edge. That number is the half waist.
Type both numbers into the cutting table. It shows the closest printed size and the gap in centimetres.

The brand, in plain facts

Kiğılı’s own pages date the brand to 1938 and call it Türkiye’s men’s clothing brand. The shop sells men’s clothes only: its menu has no women’s section.

Founded: 1938 (the about page says “since 1938” and “over 85 years”).
Three labels: Kiğılı; Abdullah Kiğılı Exclusive Cut, which the about page describes by luxury fabrics, fine work and refined details; and Kiğılı Project, made for a younger crowd with trend-led designs.
What it sells: Suits, shirts, knitwear, coats and jackets, vests, sweatshirts, T-shirts, trousers and shorts, plus a plus-size section (Büyük Beden) and a home and underwear section (Ev & İç Giyim).
Sizes: Suit jackets and trousers run from size 40 to size 70 across the eight cuts. The about page says Kiğılı made Türkiye’s first Big & Tall collection, up to size 70.
Shirts: The about page dates the brand’s shirt making to 1965.
Language: The storefront is in Turkish and English.
Head office: Pendik, Istanbul. The online orders leave from a logistics centre in Tuzla, Istanbul.

The lumberjack shirt

Oduncu means lumberjack. Kiğılı’s menu has a shirt category called Oduncu Gömlek, the lumberjack-style shirts. The menu also lists classic, non-iron, oxford, denim, linen and short-sleeve shirts.

The cuts in words, shoulder, waist, leg

Each cut has a name such as “6 Drop Regular Fit”. The “Drop” number is part of Kiğılı’s name for the cut: say the full name in the shop. This page uses the short names: Regular, Slim and so on. Kiğılı describes five of its suit cuts in four short lines each.

Kiğılı also prints size tables for three more cuts: Muscle, Verona (Soft Oversize) and Milano (Soft Full Oversize). The cutting table above has all eight.

Buying, online, pickup and payment

The FAQ and the payment page answer most questions about an order:

Order: as a guest, or with a free account. The account makes orders easier to follow.
Prices: value-added tax is included in every price.
Payment: credit card, debit card or BKM Express (a Turkish online payment app for bank cards), with 3D Secure (your bank confirms the payment, usually with a code by SMS). A credit card can pay in one go or in instalments at the cash price.
Shipping: an order reaches the carrier in 1 to 3 business days, and the time can vary in campaign weeks and on special days. You get an SMS when it ships. Items from one order can arrive in separate parcels. The FAQ lists the delivery fee and the free-delivery threshold: check it for the current figures.
Abroad: the shop’s FAQ says shipments abroad will start shortly (checked 21 October 2026). That is the whole answer as printed.
Pickup in a store: choose the store at the address step. An SMS says when the order has arrived. Show the invoice at the store.
No changes: an order cannot be changed after it is placed, and neither can its address. Cancel and order again, or swap in a store.
The brand’s own shops: kigili.com and abdullahkigili.com, plus the brand’s own shops on marketplace sites. The call centre can tell you which marketplace shops are the brand’s.

The online return, step by step

Check the status. In Hesabım > Siparişlerim the order must read Teslim Edildi.
Press the button. Press Kolay İade next to the item, then choose the item and the reason.
Confirm. The code shows on the same page and arrives by SMS.
Pack. Put the item and the invoice in one parcel. With no invoice, add a note with your name and order number.
Hand it in. Give the parcel and the code to the carrier within 5 business days. You do not need a return address.

The money: the shop says an approved return goes to the bank within 3 business days, and the bank shows it within 10 business days.
Alterations: Kiğılı stores alter clothes. Many basic jobs are free and some cost money, so ask the store which is which.
Underwear: it is not swapped, for hygiene reasons.

What the law adds, 14 days and a phone number

Türkiye’s rules for buying online or by phone (distance contracts) let you withdraw from an online order within 14 days, without giving a reason. The Ministry of Trade’s consumer guide says the goods go back within 14 days of the notice and the seller refunds within 14 days, to the payment method you used. The shop’s 30 days are longer than the 14 days in the law.

Both lines are printed as written. This page does not choose between them: ask the shop and your bank how the refund will show.

Exceptions: the guide lists goods with no withdrawal right once the packaging is opened for hygiene reasons, and goods made to order.
Alo 175: the Ministry of Trade’s consumer helpline. It explains the ways to solve a problem and points you to the right authority.
A dispute: a consumer arbitration committee (tüketici hakem heyeti) takes disputes under a limit that the state sets every year. You apply in person or through a lawyer, by hand, by post, or online through e-Devlet (the state’s online services portal).

Pick the cut first, then measure a jacket that fits you, laid flat, across the chest. Find that number in the table of the cut. The cutting table above does it for you.

Is a size 50 the same in every cut?

No. The printed half chest of a size 50 jacket runs from 51.5 cm in Super Slim to 59 cm in Verona and Milano.

What the numbers are: every size number is copied as Kiğılı prints it, in centimetres, for the eight suit cuts. The tool only looks them up.
What they are not: a fit guarantee. Bodies and tastes differ, and the shop can change its tables at any time.
Not copied: the tables for shirts, knitwear and the other garments, and any price. The shop’s prices change often, so this page gives none.
Turkish lines: the lines to say are plain phrases for a shop. They are not quotes from the shop.
