Antalya Airport is a major airport in Antalya, Turkey. It’s the fourth busiest Airport in Turkey and one of the largest Airport in Mediterranean region. If you’re planning on traveling to Antalya anytime soon for work or leisure, this blog post will help prepare you for your next trip!

Antalya Airport is located in Antalya, Turkey. It’s the fourth busiest Airport in Turkey and one of the largest Airport in Mediterranean region with an annual passenger traffic volume of close to 12 million passengers. The airport has two runways: a main runway (1300 meters) and a secondary runway (1260 meters). There are also four terminals that serve as departures gates for international flights; Terminal A, B, C and D.

The Airport handles both national and international flights from major airlines including Turkish Airlines, Pegasus Airline, AtlasGlobal Airways etc. Domestic flights depart mainly at terminal D while International departures take place largely at Terminals A or C depending on destination country before departure time.

Transportation to and from the airport

There are two Airport shuttle services that connect Antalya Airport with the city. The first service is called Airport Shuttle Bus and it operates from 05:00 to 00:30 every day, during which there are bus departures in intervals of 20 minutes for a total cost of 15 Turkish Lira per person each way. The second option available is Airport Transfer Taxi Service (operated by Havaş) and its departure times vary depending on flight schedules but usually start at 06:30 – 07:00 until 23:59.

The Airport also has a train station located outside terminal A where you can take trains only as far as Konya or Adana due to the lack of railway infrastructure beyond these cities. There are currently no buses that go to the Airport from Antalya city center but you can hire a taxi for around 60 Turkish Lira.

You can also rent a car from the airport or online and receive it when you arrive.

Tips to make your trip in Antalya Airport better

Do not forget to pack some snacks! You never know when hunger hits or if security might ask that you pass any liquids/gels through XRAY machines which can result in them confiscating food items from carryon baggage.

-Make sure snacks are packed in checked luggage just incase! The queues can be very long for check-in desks too sometimes, especially during busy holiday periods.

– Airport Authorities require that all travelers to Antalya Airport have a valid passport and, if entering Turkey from another country, an e-Visa or Visa.

– Be sure you pack your liquids in containers of less than 100 ml for carry on or checked luggage. If the liquid is larger then it should be transported as cargo not cabin baggage
